04.07.2010 Over 911,000 tons of grain threshed in Ukraine As of July 1, 2010, Ukraine threshed 911,500 tons of grain on an area of nearly 375,000 hectares out of the planned 12.045 million hectares. Education- Alex graduated from the College of Agriculture and Horticulture of the Humboldt-University of Berlin, Division of Farm Management Theory as a Doctor of Philosophy. Post-Doc Fellow at the School of Economics, Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, The University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia.

Professional experience -Mr. Lissitsa is the leading specialist in Ukraine in the field of strategic management, administration, efficiency and productivity analysis of agricultural and processing enterprises. He worked as a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Development in Central and Eastern Europe (IAMO) Halle (Saale), Germany for some time. He is a member of International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE), European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE) and some other professional societies.

Participation in scientific conferences -IAMO Forum "Agri-Food Business: Global Challenges – Innovative Solutions" Halle, June 2008.

Mr. Lissitsa is an author of plenty of scientific articles published in the internationally recognized professional journals. He got a lot of honors and scholarships.

  Dr. Heinz-W. Strubenhoff, Adviser to the President

Education: Heinz is an agricultural economist with more than 20 years experience in research, higher education, agribusiness development, policy advice and consultancy. He studied at the Universities of Goettingen,  Berlin and Bordeaux and received his PhD at the Technical University of Berlin.

 

Professional Experience: 5 years as a research fellow at the Technical University of Berlin, 3 years as consultant in Africa, 2 years as financial consultant in Germany, 10 years consultancy experience mainly as Director of the Europe Department of a leading European consulting group.  4 years experience in Ukraine as team leader of the German-Ukrainian Policy Dialogue in Agriculture. Previous member of various working groups at Eastern Council of the Association of German Industries and the German Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Protection. Extended experience in agriculture and food market studies, agribusiness finance and investment planning as well as promotion of public and private agricultural service organizations. Staff member at the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting in Kyiv.

Special Experience in Ukraine: Editor of various publications on agriculture and agribusiness development in Ukraine. Participation in numerous international conferences and public events. Execution of various advisory and investment projects on behalf of public donors and private agribusiness clients. Major strengths: agricultural policy analysis, market studies, technology transfer and agribusiness finance and investment.

Language Skills: German native, English excellent, French and Russian fluent.
